We talk a lot at Brainerd about being a “committed follower of Jesus Christ.” Have you ever wondered what that actually means? A committed follower of Jesus Christ is someone who believes in Christ alone as the only hope of salvation, submits to God by obeying his Word, is empowered by the Spirit and growing in biblical community, and demonstrates their faith by showing the love of Christ from the Scenic City to the nations.
You’ll notice how crucial knowing God through the Bible is in order to be a committed follower of Christ. This. year, we’d like to challenge you to know God through His Word.

The Committed to Know Him podcast is a 5 minute weekly podcast designed to help the members of Brainerd Baptist Church and others to reflect on a weekly Bible memory passage. The podcast is meant to accompany our Committed to Know Him resource that includes not only Scripture memory, but also a Bible reading plan and simple ramework for prayer.
